We Demoed at Visa HQ.
Here's what happened.
Snaplii live AI agent payment demo at Visa HQ, Silicon Valley

Last night, we stood in a room at Visa headquarters in Silicon Valley. In the audience: decision-makers from Coinbase, PayPal, BlackRock, and QED Investors.

We ran a live demo.

Not a slide deck. Not a concept video. A real AI agent, completing a real payment, in real time — topping up a DoorDash account and ordering coffee for delivery. One sentence of instruction. Zero clicks. Zero card credentials handed to the agent.

The reaction was everything.

The Problem We Walked In With

Every AI agent today hits the same wall.

The agent is smart enough to know what you need. It can browse, compare, and decide. But the moment it needs to pay, it stops. Because giving an AI agent your credit card is not just uncomfortable. It is architecturally broken.

Once a card credential enters an agent's memory or context window, you've lost control. The agent can spend without limits. A prompt injection can replay the card. A logging error can expose it. And when something goes wrong, nobody knows who's liable — not the user, not the agent vendor, not the merchant, not the network.

Current payment infrastructure was designed for humans. It was never built for autonomous agents.

What We Showed Them

Snaplii is the layer between AI agents and the real world of commerce.

Instead of handing the agent a credit card, users pre-fund a Snaplii account and define the rules: which merchants, how much, for how long. When the agent needs to execute a purchase, Snaplii generates a one-time, transaction-scoped credential built on the gift card and prepaid network that merchants already accept natively.

The agent never sees the real card. It never holds funds. It operates entirely within the scope the user defined.

One integration. 500+ brands. 400,000+ physical locations. Approximately 70% of North American retail categories. Live today.

We didn't ask merchants to change anything. They already accept us. That's the point.

Why It Matters at This Moment

Stripe, Visa, Google, Mastercard. Everyone is building toward the future of AI payments. These are important infrastructure investments, and the protocols being developed today will matter enormously over the next decade.

But there's a gap between announcing the future and shipping the present.

We spent ten years building this merchant network before a single AI agent called it. That foundation is what made last night possible. When the demo ran — agent executes, payment clears, cashback lands — it wasn't magic. It was ten years of infrastructure pointed at a new problem.

What Comes Next

We're opening Snaplii A2M to developers and AI agent builders across North America.

If you're building an agent that needs to buy things — groceries, coffee, rides, bill payments, retail — you can integrate today. One MCP server call. Full merchant network. Cashback included.

If you're a brand or merchant who wants your products to be purchasable by AI agents without any integration work on your side, you're already in our network. Reach out and let's talk about what's possible.

The agentic commerce market is projected to reach $300 to $500 billion in the US by 2030. The payment rail is the last unsolved piece.

We solved it. Built in Canada. Live today.

Others announced it. We shipped it.
